Before the Strix, Foggy'd been... mostly serious about training. He'd tried, anyway, he'd just stuck to the stuff that he was better suited for. Learning Tai Chi from Magnus, swinging their practice swords around like a blunt instrument, hauling stuff to help build the still and the icebox, that he can do.

He's good with his hands, good at any kind of heavy lifting, it's just - everything else that makes Foggy groan and dump a little bit of water over his head to try to cool down.

"Remind me that in the morning when I get up and my entire body hurts. I gotta tell you, Matt, this is no where near as fun as dancing for the same result, but hey, at least I'm improving." He's smiling, though, and there's no real heat to his complaints. Foggy was the one who asked for this, and he's accepted that he really needs to at least learn how to defend himself with more than a makeshift baseball bat.
